We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Accountant to join our team. As a General Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing a range of accounting tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the organization.
Responsibilities:
•Prepare and maintain accurate financial records.
•Reconcile bank statements and prepare monthly financial statements.
•Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
•Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payment and collections.
•Process payroll and ensure compliance with all applicable UAE regulations.
•Filing and submission of VAT and ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations.
•Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.
Job Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
•Proven experience as an accountant in UAE for at least 2 years or more in a reputed organization.
•Excellent organizing abilities.
•Good financial analysis skills.
•Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
•Excellent knowledge of MS Office and proficiency in Excel spreadsheets.
•Knowledge of the Sage 50 Accounting system.
•Well versed in Bank, Vat filing and submissions, and other related UAE government requirements.
•Must have strong communication skills both written and verbal. Fluent in English.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
