We are urgently seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to join our team. The Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial records, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, and supporting the company in making sound financial decisions. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:•Prepare and maintain financial records: Accurately record and track all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.•Financial reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.•Budgeting and forecasting: Assist in the development and monitoring of company budgets and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.•Tax preparation and compliance: Ensure that all financial data complies with tax regulations, and assist with the preparation of tax returns and other tax-related doents.•Bank reconciliations: Perform regular reconciliations of company bank accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.•Payroll management: Oversee payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment of wages and compliance with employment laws.•Auditing: Assist in internal and external audits by providing the necessary doentation and explanations.•Cost analysis: Analyze costs and recommend ways to reduce expenses and increase profitability.•Maintain accounting systems: Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) to ensure that all financial data is accurately recorded and easily accessible.•Assist with financial strategy: Collaborate with the finance team to develop strategies for financial growth and efficiency.
Qualifications:•Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.•Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or finance (depending on the level of the role).
Current Location: Must be in UAE, Preferably in Dubai or Abu Dhabi
