Financial Reporting:
Prepare and maintain financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports in compliance with UAE accounting standards.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management review.
General Ledger Management:
Oversee general ledger entries and reconciliation of accounts.
Ensure that all transactions are properly recorded and supported with the necessary doentation.
Manage the accuracy of financial records and resolve discrepancies when identified.
VAT & Tax Compliance:
Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with UAE tax laws.
Keep up to date with changes in tax regulations and advise management on their impact.
Handle any other tax-related reporting, such as excise tax or corporate tax, as applicable.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Manage and track outstanding invoices, process payments, and follow up on overdue amounts.
Maintain strong relationships with vendors and clients for effective communication on payment matters.
Bank Reconciliation:
Reconcile bank statements with company records on a regular basis.
Identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Payroll Processing:
Ensure accurate payroll processing for employees, including allowances, bonuses, and deductions.
Comply with UAE labor laws and ensure all tax and social security contributions are processed correctly.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts for various departments.
Monitor actual spending against the budget and provide variance analysis to senior management.
Internal Controls and Audits:
Ensure adherence to company policies and internal control systems.
Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary doentation and explanations for any discrepancies.
Accounting Software and Tools:
Utilize accounting software to manage financial data.
Assist in improving and optimizing accounting processes through technology and software solutions.
Financial Analysis:
Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for cost-saving, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiency
