About the role : we are travel company looking for a skilled accountant to our team , the ideal candidates should have experience in handling account tasks in dynamic environment
Key responsibilities
• Manage accounts: handle a portfolio of [numbers] accounts, ensuring timely payments and excellent customer service
•Billing and invoicing: prepare, verify, and send invoices to clients, managing billing cycles and payment terms
•Account reconciliation: reconcile account balances, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly
•Customer communication: liaise with clients via phone, email, or in -person addressing queries and resolving issues
•Data entry and record keeping: maintain accurate records, updating account information and performing data entry tasks
•Reporting and analysis: generate reports on accountant activity, analyzing data to optimize account management
Requirements
• Bachelor’s of accounting or related field
• Minimum 3 or 4 years of experience as accountant in travels
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Effective communication and interpersonal skill
• candidate should have good knowledge of both English and Malayalam
