Financial Records Management: Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including maintaining the general ledger, processing journal entries, and ensuring all business transactions are recorded accurately.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Handle the full cycle of accounts payable (processing vendor and subcontractor invoices and payments, managing retentions) and accounts receivable (issuing client invoices, tracking collections, managing ca deposits).
Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and maintain accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Reconciliations: Conduct detailed account and bank reconciliations to identify discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
Payroll Administration: Manage the payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of salaries and compliance with UAE labour laws.
Compliance and Auditing: Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards (IFRS) and local regulations (VAT and Corporate Tax). Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
Internal Controls: Implement, review, and strengthen accounting policies and internal controls to safeguard company assets and financial data.
M Responsibilities
Proje Costing: Track project costs against estimates to monitor profitability at a granular level. This includes allocating direct costs (materials, labor, subcontractor fees) and indirect costs (overheads) to specific job numbers.
Materials and Inventory Management: Assist with the accounting for procurement and inventory, ensuring material costs are accurately tracked from purchase to allocation to a specific project site.
Subcontractor Financial Management: Meticulously manage subcontractor payments, including the handling and tracking of retention money as per contract agreements.
Warranty Provisions: Properly account for potential future costs related to warranty obligations on completed projects, recognizing these provisions in line with IFRS standards.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with project managers to develop and monitor project budgets, analyze variances, and support financial forecasting activities specific to project timelines and milestones.
