Job Description

An Accountant in the furniture industry is responsible for managing financial transactions, monitoring costs, preparing reports, and ensuring accurate bookkeeping related to furniture production, sales, procurement, and project operations. The role requires strong knowledge of inventory costing, job costing, and coordination with production, warehouse, and project teams.

Responsibilities
-Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping

-Costing & Inventory Management

-Accounts Payable (AP)

-Accounts Receivable (AR)

-Payroll & Labor Costing

-Financial Reporting

-Compliance & Doentation

-Coordination & Support


Candidate Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

-Experience in furniture, joinery, or manufacturing industry (preferred)

-Strong knowledge of inventory costing and job costing.

-Proficiency in accounting software (Zoho Books, Tally, QuickBooks, ERP).

-Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas).

-Attention to detail and accuracy.

-Good communication and time‑management skills.
