Position: Senior Accountant - IPO Specialist

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of the IPO process, working closely with executive leadership, legal counsel, and external auditors.
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with SEC regulations and GAAP standards.
- Coordinate with underwriters, investment bankers, and other stakeholders to facilitate a smooth IPO process.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of stock transactions, including stock options, warrants, and equity-based compensation.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures related to investments, including fair value measurements and impairment assessments.
- Conduct research on accounting issues related to investments and stocks, providing guidance to internal teams as needed.
- Assist with due diligence activities and financial analysis for potential mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and investor relations, to support ongoing reporting and compliance requirements post-IPO.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on investment and stock accounting.
- Prior experience leading or supporting an IPO process, including S-1 filings and registration statement preparation.
- Strong understanding of SEC regulations, GAAP principles, and financial reporting requirements for public companies.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with equity management platforms is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Willing to Relocate to Doha, Qatar
