A single-family office is looking for a highly motivated and committed individual with strong analytical
and communication skills to hire as an Analyst in its Investments department.
The main responsibilities include:
- Assist in all due diligence efforts from initial introduction to final investment, and
investment committee recommendations.
- Analyze and track current investment performance as well as potential investments’
performance.
- Assist in financial statement reporting and analysis for the investment book.
- Quarterly analysis and tracking of macro environment and industry trends.
- Support the team with all projects and management of the portfolio.
- Undertake ad-hoc responsibilities and reporting as assigned by the team.
EDUCATION AND PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS -
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, economics, or other related majors is required. Candidates that are pursuing C will be preferred.
Prior Work Experience and Required Skillset: 2 – 4 years of work experience in the finance a investment space. Experience in advisory services in consultancy firms is a plus. Experience in M&A deal advisory is a plus. Experience in investment analysis is a plus. Experience in preparing a analyzing financial statements is crucial. Experience in preparing financial models on Microsoft Excel is crucial. Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze, interpret, and compute
different financial metrics. Keen interest in and an understanding of financial markets across asset classes. Ability to multi-task, work in a timely manner, and manage tight deadlines. Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications especially Microsoft Excel. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English. Attention to detail and ability to communicate analyses and results clearly and confidently. Bahraini or GCC Nationals will be preferred.
