Job Summary:
Draftsman and Detailer specializing in luxury high-end projects, with a focus on fabrication, he will take a lead role in the creation of exquisite joinery drawings and specifications. His expertise extends to include the intricate detailing required for fabrication. Collaborating closely with architects, interior designers, and artisans, he will be responsible for producing not only design-perfect drawings but also detailed fabrication plans. Proficiency in CAD software, a deep understanding of premium materials, and a commitment to flawless execution are key to ensuring the success of bespoke, luxury joinery projects.
Responsibilities:
Joinery Detailing and Fabrication:
oDevelop highly detailed joinery drawings, encompassing plans, elevations, and sections, with a particular emphasis on fabrication requirements.
oCraft comprehensive fabrication drawings, ensuring that every detail is precisely executed.
CAD Mastery:
oUtilize advanced CAD software to produce 2D and 3D models that are not only design-perfect but also tailored for fabrication excellence.
Material Expertise and Fabrication Collaboration:
oDemonstrate an in-depth knowledge of premium woodworking materials, collaborating closely with technical manager and manufacturers to ensure materials meet the highest standards.
oWork intimately with fabrication teams to translate intricate details from drawings into flawless, tangible joinery elements.
Doentation Excellence:
oMaintain meticulous doentation of joinery and fabrication details, capturing revisions and creating comprehensive Fabrication Clean Copies and as-built drawings that showcase the precision of luxury craftsmanship.
oOrganize and catalogue drawings with an emphasis on presenting a portfolio of excellence in both design and fabrication.
Technical Support for Fabrication and Installation:
oProvide expert technical support during the fabrication phase, collaborating with fabrication teams to ensure every element is crafted to perfection.

Desired Candidate Profile
Education:
•Diploma or degree in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
•A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a drafting role
Skills:
