• Responsible for understanding and following the restaurant standards of operations by reviewing and studying the training manuals extensively.
• Responsible for ensuring that all beverage products and specialty coffee are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards, and ensure low levels of wastage and correct wastage reporting
• Responsible for using restaurant Standard Recipe Card for preparing all products. Do not rely on the memory of yourself or other employees.
• Responsible for maintaining station stocks levels of beverages products to assure a smooth service period.
• Follows proper presentation and garnish set up for all beverage products.
• Thorough knowledge of Beverages and specialty coffee operations. 1-2 years of experience.
• Basic skill in math and algebraic equations using percentages
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, with guests and employees.
• Work place is fast paced with considerable movement throughout shift. Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods.
• Basic Food Hygiene Training
• Physically fit
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours).
