Monitors conduct of students on school bus to maintain discipline and safety.
Execute daily operations that are required.
Directed loading of students on bus to prevent congestion and unsafe conditions.
Consistently monitoring the route to ensure the driver is on schedule.
Observed drive client interactions to ensure customer needs are being met.
Assisted drivers who could not find locations, via the dispatch radio and GPS tracking.
Assisted in peroration for audits and safety checks.
Accompanies the driver on carrying the students to and from school or on field trips.
Write and maintain referrals, incident reports, student-attendance records and records of passenger misbehavior and report these to the proper personnel.
Attendant also helps the bus driver to clean and sanitize the bus interior on a weekly basis
Provides first aid for small injuries or other general first aid. Takes prompt action in case of emergency while the driver is still and route to a destination
• Hands-on experience in assisting students to embark and disembark school buses by enduring their safety and wellbeing.
• Highly skilled in monitoring students with special needs to ensure that they are not distressed and are safe from bullying.
• Deeply familiar with monitoring students to ensure that they do not cause disruption to the driver.
• Effectively able to report observations and incidents for the purpose of communicating information to school district office personnel.
• Proficient in instructing students to ensure that they are aware of appropriate behavior and onboard safety regulations.
• Adept at ensuring that emergencies are handled appropriately, focusing on the students’ safety primarily.
