Position: Business Center Cleaner & Coff Boy
Location: Anantara Business Tower, Business Bay, Dubai - UAE
Reporting To: Business Center Manager
Job Overview:
The Business Center Cleaner & Coff Boy is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the office premises while ensuring that guests and staff receive quality coffee, tea, and refreshments as required. Additionally, this role includes assisting with minor handyman tasks, office furniture arrangements, and basic office support services. The position also involves coordinating with external cleaners to ensure that common areas, especially restrooms, are kept in the best condition.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning & Maintenance:
• Ensure the entire business center, including offices, common areas, meeting rooms, and washrooms, is kept clean and well-maintained.
• Regularly sweep, mop, dust, and disinfect surfaces, including furniture, glass doors, and office equipment.
• Empty trash bins and ensure waste disposal is managed efficiently.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, ensuring all areas remain stocked with essential items (e.g., tissue, hand soap, air freshener).
• Work with external cleaners to ensure common toilets are always in the best state of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Identify and report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly.
• Wash used cups, mugs, and utensils from tenants’ offices as well as used vessels from the pantry to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
Coffee & Tea Service:
• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other refreshments to clients and staff upon request.
• Ensure pantry and coffee station areas are clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
• Handle kitchen appliances properly and ensure hygiene is maintained in food and beverage preparation.
• Assist with setting up refreshments for meetings and events.
• Purchase and restock beverages and snacks as needed, following management instructions.
Ad Hoc Tasks & Office Assistance:
• Assist with moving, shifting, and rearranging office furniture when needed or upon request.
• Perform minor handyman tasks, such as changing busted light bulbs, hanging paintings, or fixing simple office fixtures.
• Support administrative tasks, including printing, laminating, and binding doents as required.
• Provide support in handling deliveries, organizing office supplies, and assisting staff with minor tasks when required.
• Offer polite and professional service to guests, ensuring a hospitable environment.
• Follow health and safety regulations to maintain cleanliness and food safety standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Previous experience in a similar role (office cleaning, housekeeping, or hospitality service) is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper usage.
• Ability to follow schedules and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good personal hygiene and professional appearance.
• Basic knowledge of coff preparation and food safety.
• Friendly and courteous attitude with good communication skills.
• Basic handyman skills (e.g., changing light bulbs, hanging decorations, fixing small items).
• Ability to lift and move office furniture or equipment when required.
• Experience in coordinating with external cleaners or service providers is an advantage.
Work Schedule & Benefits:
• 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, 1 Day Off
