Job Description & Summary
We are currently evaluating a regional pet food supply and sourcing platform based in
the UAE. As part of this initiative, we are seeking a well-connected consultant to support
market engagement with distributors, wholesalers, and retail buyers across the GCC.
This is a short-term, execution-focused role requiring direct outreach and industry
interaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Engage pet food distributors, wholesalers, and retailers across the UAE and GCC
• Leverage existing industry relationships to initiate conversations quickly
• Identify distributors interested in expanding supplier base and private label
opportunities
• Support securing written expressions of interest from qualified parties
Requirements
• Direct experience in FMCG or pet food distribution in the GCC (mandatory)
• Existing active network within the FMCG or pet food distribution sector in the GCC,
including distributors, wholesalers, or retail buyers (mandatory)
• 2–5 years experience in: Pet food distribution, FMCG trading & Wholesale or retail
buying
• Strong ability to engage decision-makers and navigate commercial discussions
• Comfortable with: Phone outreach, WhatsApp communication, Fast-paced
interaction
• Ability to work independently and deliver results quickly
• English required; Arabic is a plus
Success Criteria
• The engagement will be considered successful if within the contract period:
• 10-15 distributor conversations are completed
• 5+ qualified distributor leads identified
• 2-3 written expressions of interest secured

• This is a relationship-driven execution role focused on real market engagement.
