We are actively seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to propel our growth within the Dairy, Bakery, and Meat industries across the Middle East and Africa regions. This role demands a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual with a strong commitment to customer success. The successful candidate will drive new business initiatives by effectively implementing and executing the company's values and strategies. A key aspect of this role involves a robust appetite for business growth.

Job Description:
The Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in developing and executing strategic sales plans to expand our customer base and enhance sales of our Phosphates and Blends portfolio.
This position is instrumental in forging and nurturing strong relationships with distributors and customers in the food industry.
The inbent will be responsible for achieving sustainable, profitable growth in the MEA region, specifically in Dairy, Meat, Bakery, and other Food Processing segments, by capitalizing on our core competencies.
The role involves driving sustainable business opportunities that not only contribute to our customers' success but also set us apart from competitors.
It includes providing technical support, managing trials, and aiding product development for strategic customers in relevant markets.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development: Formulate and implement a comprehensive sales strategy in line with the company's overarching goals and objectives.
Market Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to uncover new growth opportunities.
Customer Relationship Management: Develop and sustain strong relationships with potential and existing customers, surpassing their expectations.
New Business Development: Actively seek out and capitalize on new business opportunities, including expansion into untapped markets and customer segments.
Product Expertise: Possess an in-depth understanding of Food Ingredients products to effectively articulate their advantages and benefits to clients.
Sales Forecasting: Create sales forecasts and budgets, consistently monitoring performance against set targets.
Contract Negotiation: Skillfully negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to ensure mutually advantageous agreements.
Reporting and Analysis: Regularly prepare sales reports and analyses to track progress and recommend strategies for enhancement.
Representation at Events: Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote products and establish valuable partnerships.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology or a related field is essential.
Demonstrated experience as a Business Development Manager in the food industry, preferably with expertise in Phosphates or other Food Ingredients.
Age should be below 35 years.
Should be currently bases in Middle East or Africa.
A minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in Food Ingredients, with experience in Distribution being advantageous.
Previous experience in the production of Cheese, Meat, Bakery is highly desirable.
Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
Fluency in English and Arabic is mandatory; proficiency in French is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel).
