Responsible for handling material requirement planning & purchasing within the companies’ procedures and guideline. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles such as MRP, Inventory planning & control.
Monitor the movement of materials and maintain inventory levels.
Responsible for handling aging inventory and working with other locations and distributing where the material is in demand.
Manage the buying process for a given set of goods in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets.
Review the Price, Lead time, and all other MRP attributes as required so that the system is kept up to date.
Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
Comply with all UBI company and HSE policies and procedures.
BEHAVIORAL SKIL & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that interfaces well with co-workers and management members.
Demonstrates good ability to prioritize work, organizational skills, and initiative to improve processes.
Must have strong numerical reasoning.
Strong interpersonal skills with good verbal and written communication ability.
Have a minimum of five years’ experience in similar field.
Qualifications: (Educati. of Years of Experience) Bachelor’s Degree in Business, supply chain or another relevant field (Essential). Minimum 5 years of similar experience (Essential). 5 Years' experience in Oil and gas industry (Preferable).
Skills, Training, special knowledge, a Language skills: Extensive knowledge of ERP systems, Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to prioritize and complete tasks to achieve the desired targets within the allotted time frames. Able to consider large amounts of information quickly and identifies key issues.
