The purpose of this position is to interact with our guests and ensure they have a great experience when dining at the Last Resort. Servers are responsible for positive guest interactions while serving guests in a friendly and efficient manner. At all times, servers are expected to be attentive to our guests' needs and make them feel welcome, comfortable, important, and relaxed.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Welcome and greet guests with a smile and proper eye contact
Inform guests of specials, new games, movies, a menu changes and events.
Demonstrates a complete understanding of menu items and explains them to guests accurately.
Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in the point-of-sale system, collect money and determine correct change using company cash handling policies.
Use suggestive selling techniques with the guests.
Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely manner.
Check with guests to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters, and take them to the kitchen for cleaning.
Clean tables a counters after guests have finished dining.
Understands and adheres to proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards during food & beverage preparation, service, and clean up.
Cleans and maintains all areas of the store to promote a clean image.
Perform side duties at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment.
Keep work area stocked and clean, as well as perform cleaning.
Proper operation and use of café equipment.
Contributes to a positive work environment. Makes an effort to improve job skills, knowledge and education.
Assists in completing the opening and closing checklist.
Cooperate in a friendly and “team spirit” way with the other employees and Manag. Communicates with co-workers and management to solve problems and improve the quality of our customer service.
Help your team members without being asked.
Sincerely thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.
Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the store as directed by the store manager or immediate supervisor.
Required Qualifications

Possess suitable communications skills to create a positive interaction experience with our customers.
The ability to process customer orders and retail items on a POS register system, operate and use equipment necessary for the store operation.
Communicate effectively with co-workers, guests and management, handle multiple tasks at one time, work varied hours and days based on business needs.
The job will require occasional lifting of up to 20 kg and ability to stand for long periods of time, as well as frequent and continual flexing and rotating of wrist and spine.
F&B or retail customer service experience.
Be able to understand the gaming culture & basic PC management s
