5. **Cash Management:** Maintain the cash register, handle cash counts, and reconcile cash at the end of your shift, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
6. **Receipts and Doentation:** Provide customers with receipts for their purchases and accurately record transactions, returns, and exchanges.
7. **Bagging and Packaging:** Efficiently bag and package customers' purchases while ensuring the safety and proper handling of items.
8. **Maintaining Cleanliness:** Keep your work area clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies, including bags, receipts, and promotional materials.
9. **Assist Colleagues:** Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations, especially during busy periods.
10. **Upselling and Promotions:** Promote add-on items, special offers, or loyalty programs to enhance the customer's shopping experience.
11. **Handling Customer Concerns:** Address customer questions, concerns, or complaints professionally and escalate complex issues to a supervisor as needed.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus.
- Strong numerical and multitasking skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
