Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in assigned areas, ensuring a clean and safe environment for all occupants. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be self-motivated, and capable of performing various cleaning tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Cleaning and Sanitizing: Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors, carpets, and surfaces.
Trash Removal: Empty trash bins and replace liners, ensuring proper disposal of waste.
Restroom Maintenance: Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
Surface Cleaning: Wipe down and disinfect high-touch surfaces, including doorknobs, light switches, and countertops.
Window Cleaning: Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors to remove smudges and fingerprints.
Furniture Maintenance: Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and fittings.
Supply Management: Monitor cleaning supplies and notify management when reordering is necessary.
Specialized Cleaning: Perform deep cleaning tasks such as carpet shampooing, floor waxing, and window washing as needed.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals and equipment responsibly.
Reporting: Report any maintenance issues or potential hazards to the supervisor.
Qualifications
Experience: Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role preferred.
Knowledge: Familiarity with cleaning products, equipment, and best practices.
Skills: Attention to detail, ability to work independently, time management skills.
Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, stretching, and standing for extended periods.
