We are looking for a reliable, hands-on, and proactive Cleaning Team Lead / Supervisor to manage and supervise cleaning staff while actively participating in cleaning operations whenever required. The role involves ensuring high standards of hygiene, maintaining smooth day-to-day cleaning activities across client sites, and leading the team by example.
The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills along with practical knowledge of professional cleaning methods, equipment, chemicals, and hygiene protocols. This is a working supervisor role, requiring both operational supervision and physical involvement in cleaning tasks when needed.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning operations across assigned sites
* Lead the cleaning team by example and actively assist in cleaning activities during manpower shortages, deep cleaning projects, emergencies, or high-demand situations
* Perform and demonstrate proper cleaning techniques and procedures
* Assign duties and monitor staff performance and productivity
* Ensure all areas are cleaned according to company hygiene and quality standards
* Train cleaning staff on cleaning procedures, equipment handling, chemical usage, and safety practices
* Operate and guide staff on the use of cleaning machines and tools such as vacuum cleaners, scrubber machines, steam machines, pressure washers, and polishing equipment
* Ensure proper dilution, storage, and safe handling of cleaning chemicals and disinfectants
* Conduct site inspections and quality checks to maintain service standards
* Maintain cleaning schedules, attendance records, and operational reports
* Handle client requests and resolve complaints professionally and promptly
* Monitor inventory levels of cleaning materials, chemicals, PPE, and equipment
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and infection control protocols
* Support manpower planning, shift scheduling, and operational coordination
* Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly operational reports for management.
Previous experience in cleaning supervision, housekeeping supervision, or facility cleaning operations
* Practical hands-on experience in commercial, residential, or clinic cleaning services
* Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, machinery, and cleaning protocols
* Ability to operate cleaning equipment and train staff on proper usage
* Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to manage teams across multiple locations
* Physically fit and willing to participate in cleaning tasks when required
* Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, reporting, WhatsA communication)
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Customer service and hospitality mindset preferred
* UAE experience is an advantage
* Valid UAE driving license is a plus
