1. Customs Clearance Operations
Manage the complete customs clearance process for imports and exports, including doentation, submission, follow-ups, and approvals.
Ensure accurate HS code classification and compliance with Saudi customs regulations and standards.
Prepare, review, and validate all customs doents (commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, SA, shipping doents, etc.).
Coordinate with customs brokers, shipping lines, port authorities, and transport companies.
2. Compliance & Government Systems
Ensure all clearance activities comply with ZATCA (Saudi Customs), SFDA, SA, FASAH, Mawani, and other government entities.
Monitor regulatory changes and update internal teams on new requirements, restrictions, or tariff modifications.
Maintain complete and accurate records for audits.
3. Coordination & Communication
Work closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, warehouses, and internal supply chain, procurement, and finance teams.
Resolve customs-related delays, discrepancies, and operational issues.
Track shipments, monitor clearance progress, and provide timely status reports.
4. Process Optimization
Improve customs processes to reduce clearance time and costs.
Negotiate with brokers and logistics service providers regarding clearance terms and fees.
Analyze customs performance KPIs and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications & Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in customs clearance within Saudi Arabia or GCC.
3.Strong knowledge of Saudi customs regulations, HS codes, impo procedures, and port operations.
4.Proficient in customs and government platforms (FASAH, ZATCA, SABER, SFDA, Mawani, Bayan, etc.).
5.Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
