Our client, a company that has proven their position in the Oil & Gas Industry by being one of the fastest growing companies in the Region, is currently hiring for a Quantity Surveyor (QS) Draftsman.
1.Mechanical Engineering Gradua qualification.
2. A working knowledge of the fundamental requirements of piping engineering, and the basic requirements of other
engineering fields.
3.Minimum 4-year experience in piping drafting and detailing.
4.Minimum 1 year experience in offshore site surveys or 2 years in onshore surveys.
5.A thorough knowledge of the codes and standards and a good understanding of onsho engineering practices
applicable to piping design for oil and gas facilities.
6.Conversant in codes like ASME B31.3, ASME B16.5 and standards like ADNOC, ADMA, ZADCO and
Bunduk pipi codes.
7.Familiar in reading P&ID, G.A Drawing, Block diagram, TIE-in Schedule, Line List and Support Schedules.
8.Conversent in offshore Piping components, material grades and standards.
9.Preparation of Autocad isometrics, pipe support / structural drawings, detailed design shop drawings, hand sketch,
BOM and MTO.
10.Proficient in AutoCAD 2D and familiar in 3D.
11.Familiar in 3D model (AVEVA E software to developing Piping Models, Pipe Supports,
Equipment Models, Isometric and Orthographic Drawing extraction is a plus.
12.Understanding and reading of static equipment (Columns, Vessels, Heat exchangers, Tanks etc.)
drawings and specifications.
13.Good knowledge of spoken and written English Language.
14.BOSIET, Basic safety courses such as firefighting, sea survival, H2S, Confined Entry shall consider as added advantage.
