• Practice safe driving habits
• Follow all state and national safety regulations and standards
• Accurately follow routes, maps, and directions
• Open vehicle doors and assist passengers
• Load cargo and baggage
• Keep exterior of vehicle clean and presentable
• Maintain vehicle equipment; replace oil, fill gas tank, perform general motor vehicle maintenance as needed for safety
• Clean windows, windshields, and mirrors as needed
• Keep interior of vehicle clean of debris and clutter
• Load and unload vehicle
• Collect payments, doent amount, and offer receipts when necessary
• Complete doentation such as logs, mileage, or cargo and passenger reports
• Follow schedules and rerouting in a timely manner when faced with traffic or congestion
• responsible for transporting packages and other goods from a mail facility to a personal or business address
• 3 years of experience in driving delivery vehicle
• Adhere to all the local traffic laws
• Develop rapport with customers and clients
• Record successful deliveries
• Prepare daily delivery reports
• Manually transport packages from the vehicle to the customers' doors buildings
• Obtain signatures from delivery recipients
• Immediately report suspicious packages to your supervisor unload and log unsuccessful deliveries at the end of each shift
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• 3 years of experience with driving a delivery vehicle
• No traffic violation records
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Team player
• Good time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to carry at least 250 pounds
• Ability to lift packages and carry heavy loads
• Must be at least 22 years of age
• Enthusiastic to work for long hours
