Location: Dubai, UAE
• Estimate the direct and indirect cost of resources including materials, labour, equipment, subcontracting etc. on a certain bid in accordance with the scope of work and tender documents' requirements.
• Identifies labour, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
• Computes costs by analysing labour, material, and time requirements.
• Collection of tender inquiries and documents for the pre-tender works.
• Collection of quotations for various subcontracted items for the bidding of the new tenders.
• Maintains cost data base by entering and backing up data.
• Collection of quotations for various subcontracted items for the bidding of the new tenders.
• Verification of quantities and variations for the bidding of new projects and post tendering.
• Management of all the documentations of estimating department.
• Coordination with Clients and Consultants for new Contracts, as well as monitoring the work in progress.
Skills Required:
• Must have Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in interior fit-out projects in UAE.
• Must be a Bachelor’s degree holder in Engineering
• Ability to undertake a reasonable level of technical and financial calculations.
• Ability to prepare work to estimate by gathering inquiries, proposals, studying architectural drawings, specifications and other related documents.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent IT and numeracy skills.
• Familiar with tender specifications and drawings.
