Estimation & Tendering of HVAC Projects
Review and analyze project specifications, drawings, and scope of work to develop an understanding of the project
Develop a material list and labor estimate for the HVAC portion of the project
Utilize estimating software to generate a complete bid proposal
Review and compare bids from subcontractors to ensure accuracy and competitiveness
Negotiate pricing with subcontractors and vendors
Prepare change orders as needed throughout the course of the project
Manage the procurement process for all HVAC materials and equipment
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, new products, and best practices
Attend pre-bid meetings, job site visits, and progress meetings as required
Stay abreast of current building codes and energy efficiency standards
Adhere to company safety policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
