We are currently seeking an experienced MEP Estimator to join our team. As an MEP Estimator, you will be responsible for providing accurate cost estimates for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on construction projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure that all estimates are accurate and comprehensive.
Responsibilities:
•Review project plans, specifications, and other project doents to understand project scope, timelines, and requirements.
•Prepare and submit accurate cost estimates for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems based on project plans and specifications.
•Work with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure that all estimates are comprehensive and accurate.
•Provide value engineering suggestions to help reduce project costs without sacrificing quality.
•Prepare detailed take-offs and material lists for all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
•Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
•Attend project meetings to review estimates and provide input on potential changes.
Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
•Minimum of 3 years of UAE experience in MEP estimating, in the construction industry.
•Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other project management software.
