About the Role:
As the primary point of contact for our members and visitors, you will be responsible for creating a warm, inviting atmosphere that reflects the gym’s commitment to quality and service. This role demands excellent communication skills, a strong command of English, and the ability to manage a variety of administrative tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Greeting members and guests with professionalism and genuine warmth, ensuring a positive first impression
Managing all incoming communications via phone, email and in-person inquiries with clarity and courtesy.
Providing detailed information on gym memberships, class schedules, policies, and services.
Overseeing member check-ins and check-outs using our gym management software.
Facilitating membership registrations, renewals, and cancellations with accuracy and discretion.
Maintaining an organized, clean, and welcoming reception area at all times.
Scheduling personal training sessions and class appointments as needed.
Addressing and resolving member concerns promptly or escalating issues when appropriate.
Handling financial transactions, including payment processing and receipt issuance, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
Collaborating closely with trainers and other staff to support smooth daily gym operations.
What We’re Looking For:
Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A friendly, professional demeanor with strong customer service orientation.
Ability to multitask and handle inquiries in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred.
