An international restaurant chain company is urgently looking for candidates to fill the role of F&B Cost Controller.
Job Purpose
To ensure accuracy and timely delivery of food cost control report provide the analysis in terms of wastage, pilferage and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Control the food cost effectively and efficiently.
Collaborate and prepare the final food cost report and communicate with operations
Prepare the food cost analysis in a timely manner
Spot any irregularities in food cost report and maintain confidentiality
Coordinate with procureme for the landed cost- invoice, custom duty, clearance expenses and other charges.
Maintain proper filing system
Review and suggest for improvement of food cost control
Prepare weekly, semi-monthly and monthly food cost report
Submit all related food cost report to management for review.
Ensure the transfer and movement of stocks with proper doentation and approval.
Conduct surprise che to outlets
Coordinate between Finance and Operations for any variance or issues pertaining to food cost.
Verify information against invoices, billing, orders or other records
Record and identify damage or spoiled items, shortages and overstock
Advise management of any related issues on timely manner
Track any warehouse expenses
Post invoices and bank payment vouchers in Quickbooks
Review reports for accuracy, correctness, and completeness
Other duties that may be assigned from time to time
Knowledge and Skills
Excellent skills in F&B cost control and analysis
Ability to work manual operations and accounting software applications
Good in writing, analytical and problem‐solving skills.
Knowledge of principles and practices of organization, planning, records management and general administration.
Ability to communicate effectively and follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to do multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or any related course
Minimum 4 years of experience as cost controller from hospitality industry
Locally available to start immediately
