1. Carry out cleaning task in designated facility areas.
2. Monitors and maintains sanitation and organization of assigned areas.
3. Receive and follow the work assignment from the supervisor.
4. Dusting and cleaning ceiling vents, surface areas, and counter surfaces.
5. Performs general sweeping, scrubbing, mopping of hardwood, laminate, or tiled floors
6. Using vacuuming equipment; vacuums and cleans carpets, perform further treatments such as shampoo or stain-removal as needed
7. Disposing of trash from bins and containers
8. Polishing floor, furniture and room accessories as needed
9. Scrubbing sinks, basins, and toilets in private and public bathrooms
10. Cleaning windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
11. Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces
12. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
13. Maintaining and upkeep of all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products
14. Ensuring safe and sanitary storage and care of products
15. Keeping all public spaces neat and tidy
16. Collect wasted paper and ensure that it is sent off for recycling purposes
17. Reporting repairs and replacements needed when encountered on the job
18. Cooperate with the rest of the staff.
19. Undertake any other duties as may be required from time to time.
1. Proven experience in cleaning or entry level.
2. High school diploma or equivalent.
3. Organized and able to follow a schedule.
4. Strong time management skills in order to ensure all work is completed by the end of shift
5. Excellent verbal communication skills.
6. Capable of following instructions and learn new techniques
7. General knowledge of cleaning products, supplies, equipment’s and techniques for cleaning.
8. Self-motivation and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision
9. Should be friendly and trustworthy.
