We are a proprietary investment company as part of a family trust of medium size investing in listed equities and options. We are looking for candidates that are interested in gaining experience in trading, research and alternative investment thesis. Our basic investment thesis is in identifying investment opportunities that are not visible to the broader market.
We are flexible and are happy to consider part time or a full-time role for the right candidate. We are also looking to adopt a WFH structure in the near future.
What you will be doing:
• Checking trade blotters and preparation of reconciliation of trades.
• Preparation of financial accounts.
• Learning options and preparing trade ideas for execution
• Researching value and growth stocks for trading or investment
• Conducting administrative tasks.
• Support asset related reviews.
What we are looking for:
• Good aptitude, self-driven, positive and pleasant personality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• We are not particularly strict about your academic discipline but general excellence in the subjects you have chosen to study.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel.
