Job brief.
Greenline Technicals looking for a qualified and experienced Senior Carpenter (Foreman) for immediate hire; to be already available in the UAE.
The person will be responsible for the Gypsum partition, Ceiling, cladding layout, installation, and finishing (if required) of wooden furnishings according to specifications and drawing. He will work in different job sites, especially malls and high-end retail spaces, with the possibility to have projects in hotels and residential areas and during night shifts.
A successful applicant carpenter is an individual with great hand dexterity, a great eye for details, and good communication skills. He will also have very good knowledge of gypsum work supervision while following all health and safety standards is essential.
The goal is to contribute to the installation and maintenance of strong and long-lasting structures for high-end customers.
Responsibilities & Skills.
Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp requirements
Taking measurements and verifying that all products will be installed correctly, report any incongruences, and provide some solution on site
Knowledge of how to handle different types of gypsum material, MDF, metal to fabric, and drywall
Receive finished materials on-site, stock them properly, and protect them against any damage
Strong Hands-on experience in working with most of the carpentry materials with the ability to operate electrical and manual equipment as well as measurement tools
Follow directions of Site Manager a Supervisor.
Being responsible for schedule and timings and ready to fulfill all security and compliance requirements (access, work permit, health and safety protocols, local building codes)
Responsible for the project assigned with possible management of a small team of carpenters
Prepare site reports using basic IT tools (emails, templates, etc.)
Requirements.
Proven experience as a carpenter (minimum 5yrs)
Foreman carpenter experience (preferred)
Good knowledge of English (mandatory)
High school diploma (preferred)
Driving License (strongly recommended)
Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
Willingness to follow safety guidelines and learn new procedures
Good understanding of basic math
Good physical condition and endurance

Job Type: Permanent
Starting date: immediate
Salary: Full package from 3,000aed to 4,000aed per month, based on experience (to be discussed during the interview process)
Visa and Insurance: provided by the company
Accommodation and Transportation: included in the salary amount (as per above)
