Maintains Asset Master Data, Asset Register and records the transfers of fixed assets in the accounting system until their capitalization ensuring accuracy and quality output.
• Prepares documentation for addition and disposal of fixed assets and thereafter submits it to finance team for recording of such transactions into SAP
• Issues tags for any new assets supplied to Yards, Branches and Head Office and carries out any amendments to the existing assets.
• Coordinates with Maintenance & Fleet Teams regarding allocation of assets, movement of equipment, monitors standardized coding & re-conditioning of assets.
• Follows up with all branches for asset movements & relevant documentation such as ‘Asset Movement Forms’, Gates passes etc.
• Conducts periodic physical inventory counts of fixed assets to ensure data on SAP matches accurately with their physical presence & closely monitors any assets disposal & follows up for fund recovery.
• Ensures proper documentation of all assets is maintained for the records and audit purposes and submits asset related documents to the finance team for financial posting in the SAP
• Follows up on equipment deliveries from vendors to AQG facilities
• Enhances, and customizes Master data reports as per the requirements of the management team.
• Engages with SAP IT Team to enhance & develop the available reports & master database.
• Gathers fixed asset requirements for any new branch openings by preparing the requirements sheet outlining internal re-deployment vs external procurement of fixed assets.
• Provides query resolution to the branches related to any fixed assets such as equipment, fleet & IT.
• Approves NOC (No Objection Certificate) for employees’ post-handover of the company issued assets & assigns it for safe- keepi
• Represents the company during an internal audit that involves fixed assets.
• Tracks company expenditure on fixed assets in comparison to the capital budget.
• Conducts analysis related to the fixed assets & prepares reports for the management accordingly.
• Other duties as required.
