Manage day to day freight operations while supporting customer retention and service growth across air, sea, and land freight for general cargo. The role works closely with the Operations Manager to ensure service quality, operational efficiency, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
•Lead the operations team handling existing customer accounts
•Support customer retention through close coordination with the Operations Manager
•Promote and expand air, sea, and land freight services for general cargo
•Plan and execute end to end freight clearing and forwarding activities
•Supervise air, sea, and land movements through coordination with local and overseas suppliers
•Manage cargo movements for oil, gas, energy companies, and multinational clients
•Ensure accurate handling of import and export formalities at Dubai air and sea ports
•Prepare and submit customs clearance doentation for air, sea, and land shipments
•Use and manage relevant trade and logistics portals such as Dubai Trade and Calogi
•Track operational performance and submit weekly activity reports and monthly achievement reports
•Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements
Key Requirements:
•Proven experience in air, sea, and land freight operations
•Strong knowledge of import and export procedures and customs clearance
•Well versed in custom clearance doentation for all three liners
•Hands on experience with logistics and trade portals for air, sea, and land
•Experience handling complex cargo for oil, gas, energy sectors, and multinational clients
•Demonstrated team management experience
•Ability to manage operations across Abu Dhabi and Dubai
•Excellent communication skills in English, additional language skills add value
•Must be available in Abu Dhabi
