Job Description

The Function Head – Collection is responsible for managing and executing all activities related to collection.
 Key result Area: Collection
§ Identify and develop policy and procedures for the collection function to maintain efficient collection practices and enhance control standards within the function in line with URED & UAPM direction.
§ To manage, track and collect Unified and external clients’ accounts receivable based on lease / rental data and coordinate with the commercial department for finalization of the collection.
§ Direct and manage the collection of the rental and utilities due amount.
§ Manage Issue payment request and invoice to the tenant and follow-up on the lea collection to ensure conduction of activities on a timely basis.
§ Implementing the collection manual to issue warning notices & action notices and so on to tenants who are not making payments on time to expedite collection of overdue receivables.
§ Coordinate with Finance & Accounting department to resolve any discrepancies with lease receivables.
§ Manage submission of regular reports on SIMAH, lease collection efficiency, receivables lead time and delinquency.
§ Manage and record collections numbers in the computer system, follow up on payment delays, and report unpaid invoices to the legal department & COO & CD, Finance and Accounting department if needed for posting in Simah portal.

§ UAPM Team & Management
§ URED – Top Management
§ URED – Finance & Accounting

§ Existing Tenants and their representatives
§ Prospective retailers
§ External clients such as SEDCO, INMA, Etc
 
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE:
 Experience:
minimum of 7 – 10 years of experience in collection (real estate experience is a preferable).
A bachelor’s degree in business administration or accounting & finance degree.
Flexible with strong leadership skills and ability to interact with all levels of management
Strong accounting & analytical & skills with sound business and financial acumen
