Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized General Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and assisting with the preparation of financial statements. You will play a key role in maintaining the financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
•Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
•Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
•Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
•Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
•Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and standards.
•Prepare and file tax returns and assist with audits.
•Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances.
•Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
•Maintain organized financial records and doentation.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
•5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
•Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, ERP).
•Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
•CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
•Experience with financial analysis and budgeting.
•Familiarity with tax laws and compliance requirements.
