We are Dubai-based security services, transportation, cleaning & facilities management company and we are looking for GENERAL ACCOUNTANT with below qualifications:
- candidate must be a matured-thinker and have five (5) years working knowledge and experience in accounting either in UAE or in their home country
- must have working experience on using MS Office applications (Exc / etc)
- must have initiative to do the tasks that will improve the process flow of the company
- can work under pressure and be alert at all times with minimal mistakes or no major mistakes at all
- must be detail-oriented and result-oriented individual
- can work with minimum supervision or can work alone without supervision
- have high regard on quality, efficiency and effectiveness of work output at all times
- must have the passion to improve oneself and make a difference by continuous learning new things and sharing the same to the Team
- Team-player, ethical and fair judgement
- knows the value of coordination and cooperation
- must have a excellent command of business English
- more importantly working knowledge of VAT Returns Filing / Corporate Tax
Routine Tasks:
1) Recording of accounts - sales & expenses onto the accounting system
2) Handling AR & AP monitoring and follow-ups
3) Preparing of monthly salaries on WPS
4) Prepari of emails and various letters
5) Filing quarterly VAT Returns
6) Archiving of files - soft copies and hard copies
7) Other tasks not limited to assisting the Management Team, but as you see fit for the smooth day-to-day operations
