Role Summary:
As General Manager you will lead all operations, business development, financial performance and team leadership. You will set strategic direction, drive growth in key sectors (oil & gas, marine, infrastructure), ensure safe, efficient and profitable operations, and build the company’s reputation regionally.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and execute the business strategy: growth plans, market expansion, service diversification in oilfield water-jetting, pump rent, robotics.
Operate P&L responsibility: set targets, manage budgets, forecast, monitor performance.
Lead operations: oversee project execution, field service teams, rental fleet, pump manufacturi, logistics, QHSE compliance.
Manage business development & commercial: identify key accounts (oil majors, EPCs, tank-cleaning, marine yards), develop proposals, negotiate contracts, build partnerships.
Ensure HSE, quality and regulatory compliance: embed safe work practices, manage risk and maintain high standards in hazardous areas (offshore, petrochemical, ATEX zones).
Build and develop the team: recruit, train, mentor senior managers (operations, BD, QHSE, finance), create high-performance culture.
Drive operational excellence: optimise processes, reduce cost, improve margins, leverage technology and automation in services.
Promote the brand and customer experience: maintain strong client relationships, deliver service excellence, grow market share.
Required Experience & Skills:
Minimum 12-15 years in industrial services / oil & gas / water-jetting or high-pressure pump business, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or GM role.
Proven track record in oilfield services or water-jetting operations (including equipment rent in Middle East or similar markets.
Strong commercial aen: contract negotiation, large-account management, P&L ownership.
Operational leadership: managing field and workshop teams, logistics, maintenance, rental fleet, manufacturi.
Deep understanding of HSE, offsho environment, compliance, risk management.
Excellent strategic, analytical and communication skills.
Leadership presence with ability to lead culturally diverse teams and drive change.
Bachelor’s in Engineering, Business or equivalent. MBA desirable.
