Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Group Exercise Manager to lead and manage our Group Exercise department. The successful candidate will oversee all group fitness programs, manage instructors, enhance member engagement, and ensure exceptional service delivery across all group exercise classes.
This role is ideal for a fitness professional with strong leadership skills, experience in the UAE fitness industry, and a passion for creating an outstanding member experience. Similar UAE fitness employers typically expect experience managing group exercise operations, instructor performance, scheduling, and member engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Group Exercise Operations
Plan, organize, and manage daily group exercise operations.
Develop class schedules based on member demand and industry trends.
Introduce innovative group fitness programs.
Ensure all classes meet company quality standards.
Monitor class attendance and maximize participation.
Maintain accurate operational and attendance reports.
Team Leadership
Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor Group Exercise Instructors.
Conduct regular instructor evaluations and coaching sessions.
Schedule instructors efficiently.
Ensure all instructors maintain valid certifications.
Foster a positive and high-performance team culture.
Member Experience
Deliver an exceptional member experience.
Handle member feedback professionally.
Organize fitness challenges and special events.
Improve member engagement and retention through innovative programming.
Health & Safety
Ensure studios are clean, safe, and fully operational.
Maintain equipment in excellent condition.
Ensure compliance with UAE health and safety regulations.
Verify C certification compliance for all fitness staff.
Business Development
Support membership growth initiatives.
Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to promote group fitness programs.
Analyze class performance and participation trends.
Recommend improvements based on member feedback and business objectives.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of UAE fitness industry experience
Experience as:
Group Exercise Manager
Group Fitness Coordinator
Fitness Supervisor
Fitness Manager
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Experience managing instructor schedules and fitness programs.
Knowledge of current fitness trends and class programming.
