Job Description

- Responsible in keeping track of ite stocks in the kitchen, and subsequent ordering of the required inventory from suppliers.
- Taking charge of controlling the food preparation process and ensuring the consistency in food quality at all times by approving a polishing dishes before they are sent out to the customers.
- Managing and working closely with other Chefs present.
- Constantly keeping track of food wastage, and figuring out strategies to reduce the issue.
- Coordinating with the Hygiene Officer regarding Dubai Municipality requirements on food safety guidelines, and further ensuring that these requirements are regularly met.
- Ensuring that the kitchen is kept up to standard and any required maintenance work be reported and taken action on, as soon as possible.
- Preparing staff scheduling with the management team to plan out the staffing for the month, while taking in account of any leaves, a public holidays that may exist throughout the month.
- Creating reports on the areas responsible on, to be presented on monthly meetings with the team.
