Seeking a highly skilled CA preferably with experience in Fund Operations (PE / VC / AIF / FPI, etc.) & handling regulatory compliances. The candidate should have strong ability to draft & oversee basic legal doents / contracts, correspond with various regulatory authorities located globally and oversee diverse portfolios effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Compliance and Reporting:
o Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements.
o Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to stakeholders.
o Coordinate with auditors, regulatory authorities, and other external stakeholders as needed.
2. Financial Planning and Analysis:
o Prepare detailed financial models, forecasts, and budgets for the fund.
o Conduct periodic reviews of financial performance against benchmarks and targets.
o Provide insights and recommendations for portfolio adjustments.
3. Risk Management:
o Identify, evaluate, and mitigate financial risks associated with fund operations.
o Establish robust internal controls and risk management frameworks.
o Foster a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability within the team.
4. Stakeholder Management:
o Collaborate with investors, board members, and other key stakeholders to provide updates.
o Address inquiries and concerns related to fund management and financial performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Chartered Accountant (CA) certification from India is mandatory.
• 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience in similar roles is preferred.
• Experience in fund management, financial planning, or a related field is an added advantage.
• Proficient in financial modeling, portfolio analysis, and risk management.
• Strong understanding of investment instruments, capital markets, and regulatory frameworks.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting software and financial tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, QuickBooks).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Preferred Additional Qualifications:
• Certifications such as LLB, CFA, CPA, or equivalent.
• Experience in managing hedge funds, mutual funds, or venture capital portfolios.
• Familiarity with international financial standards and cross-border transactions.
