Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Home Cook & Groundskeeper for a private residence. The role combines daily meal preparation with outdoor maintenance and general upkeep of the property. The ideal candidate is hardworking, organized, and able to manage both kitchen responsibilities and outdoor cleani tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Cooking & Kitchen Duties
Prepare daily meals for the household (breakfast, lunch, a dinner as required)
Cook simple, healthy, home-style meals based on family preferences
Assist with menu planning when required
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen at all times
Wash dishes and clean cooking areas after meals
Handle basic grocery preparation and storage
Groundskeeping & Outdoor Duties
Clean and maintain outdoor areas (garden, yard, pathways, entrance areas)
Sweep, wash, and keep external areas tidy and presentable
Assist with basic garden care (watering plants, removing waste, light upkeep)
Dispose of garbage properly and maintain cleanliness around the property
General Support
Assist with light household tasks related to cooking and outdoor upkeep
Follow household schedules and instructions carefully
Ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained living environment
Requirements
Previous experience as a home cook, domestic helper, or groundskeeper preferred
Ability to cook basic meals independently
Physically fit and able to perform outdoor work
Honest, respectful, and well-organized
Basic English communication preferred
Willingness to work flexible hours if required
