Job description
This is a full-time on-site role for a HVAC technician with marine, offshore & Oil & gas experience at Aries Marine and Engineering Services in UAE, Saudi & Singapore. The HVAC technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, EPA compliance, and handling electrical systems related to marine offshore operations. Qualifications -BE, Diploma or ITI, Troubleshooting & Maintenance skills
HVAC /Refrigerati Health checkup & maintenance.
HVAC design, Ventilation survey & Heat load calculation.
Compress container overhaul.
Cold room engineering works and installation.
Air balancing & Water balancing.
Chiller maintenance.
Compressor overhauling.
Ventilation survey.
Air balancing.
Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of HVAC systems on offshore platforms to ensure optimal performance under extreme conditions.
Perform installation and maintenance of air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, and ventilation systems specifically designed for marine environments.
Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to identify malfunctions, implementing timely repairs to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
Adhere strictly to safety protocols and environmental regulations, ensuring all work complies with industry standards and guidelines.
Collaborate with engineering teams to design efficient HVAC solutions tailored to the unique challenges of offshore oil and gas operations.
Maintain accurate records of service activities, inspections, and repairs for compliance and future reference.
Train and mentor junior technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and adherence to best practices in HVAC maintenance.
Respond promptly to emergency HVAC issues, providing urgent repairs to maintain operational integrity and crew comfort.
Evaluate and recommend upgrades or replacements for aging HVAC systems to enhance efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
Participate in routine safety drills and training programs to stay current with emergency response practices related to HVAC systems.
