Job Description

JOB PURPOSE STATEMENT: 
Manage insurance claims for Fleet customers and provide assistance in the event of accidents involving fleet vehicles. Collaborate with Body Shop and Insurance Companies regarding insurance repairs on vehicles.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Open insurance files with Insurers on some Fleet vehicles in a timely manner.
Follow up with insurance adjusters to check on costs of repairs and insurance payments.
Manage relationships with Insurance Companies Claims Departments acting as the company's Body Shop representative.
Collect Local Purchase Orders for insurance claims.
Document all Fleet customers accidents and assist them with issues related to accidents with their vehicles.
Collate all relevant documents for accidents involving Fleet customers. 
Communicate with the Body Shop team regarding status of repairs and act as a Service
Advisor when required by providing information to customers.
Communicate with Traffic Dept. on behalf of the Company wherever required
Undertake additional related responsibilities as required.
Explain to the insurance surveyors the repairs needed Technically.
Professional negotiation skills are a must at the inspection time.
Follow up with insurance Companies for pending approvals and LPOs.
