Job Description
We are currently recruiting an Internal Auditor for a financial institution based in Qatar.
Internal Audit experience in any industry especially in the financial sector will be an extra advantage.
The Internal Auditor is responsible for the implementation of certain aspects of the audit plans. This position also reviews processes with specific attention to governance structure, risk management, and internal controls to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
Job Responsibilities
Preparing annual level audit plan.
Conducting planned and short-notice internal audit systematic manner.
Review any audit findings with the auditee to ensure their understanding of the issue and comment to action and resolve the audit findings in a timely manner.
Liaison with external auditors and facilitate external auditors as necessary.
Maintaining full and current records in the auditing system.
Experience & Education
5 years of work experience including audit
Prior experience in the financial industry is preferable.
Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university preferably in business, economics, finance, or accounting.
Relevant certification will be added advantage. Eg-CA, CIA, CFE, CISA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent are preferred.
Skills Required
High level of technical competence
Strong analytical and numeric abilities
Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Ability to handle multiple tasks with tight deadlines simultaneously
