•Stock management including First in First Out, slow moving and obsolete stock write down and disposal, stock movement between stock locations to ensure the right material is in the right place to meet demand
•Booking and booking out procedures
•Material demand plan reconciling current stock with current demand, future demand and undelivered orders.
•Cycling counting

Education a Experience:
Must have 3 year’s experience working in a fast paced warehouse / stockyard supplying a high volume factory supplying the construction sector.
Must have Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline.
Language Skills:
English and one other language
Analytical & Financial
Must be highly analytical and quick with numbers.
Must understand the value of stock management and its impact on the P&L and Balance sheet.
Neatness
Must have an irrepressible desire for neatness and tidiness.
Must need everything in its place and a place for everything.
Hardworking and Diligent
Must lead by example; Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity.
Decision Making Ability
Must have well balanced decision making skills.
Able to work in time constrained situations, working under pressure to deliver.
Must be able to learn from mistakes and put in place short term improvements.
Process & Technology
Have a basic understanding of Lean Principles; 7 Wastes, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban & Kaizan.
Expert user for all Warehouse transactions, including cycle counting and stocktaking.
Expert user of Microsoft Office programs.
Expert user of ERP systems and reporting.
Work Environment:
In certain areas of the facility personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required, including safety glasses and steel-toed shoes, and ear plugs.
