#Job Description:
-We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled IT Engineer to join our team in Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing IT solutions that support operational and business objectives within the oil and gas sector. The role requires strong technical expertise, proficiency in Microsoft applications, and the ability to work with data-driven planning and forecasting tools.
#Key Responsibilities:
-Develop, implement, and maintain Microsoft Apps and other IT solutions to support operational needs.
-Design and manage Power Apps solutions, focusing on Power BI and data analytics for business insights.
-Develop and manage planning applications to streamline operational and business workflows.
-Support forecasting and data analysis initiatives to aid decision-making processes.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify IT requirements and implement effective solutions.
-Ensure IT systems and applications are secure, efficient, and compliant with company and industry standards.
-Provide troubleshooting and technical support for applications and IT systems.
-Monitor IT performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices.
-Prepare reports and dashboards to track key operational and IT metrics.
#Qualifications & Experience:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
-Minimum 10 years of experience, preferably in the oil and gas sector.
-Strong knowledge of Microsoft Apps, including Power Apps, Power BI, and data management tools.
-Experience with planning applications, forecasting, and data analysis.
-Proficiency in general development languages and IT frameworks.
-Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
-Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
#Preferred Attributes:
-Certification in Microsoft Power Platform, Data Analytics, or Project Management is an advantage.
-Experience working with major oil and gas operators or EPC contractors.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive approach.
