Job Summary:
Plan, direct and coordinate information technology strategy and activities. Manage and provide hardware and software, maintenance, training, and consultation. Ensure compliance of systems with regulations and policies.
key responsibility:
Act as point of escalation for key stakeholders and resolve issues. Follow up on complaints or inquiries from key stakeholders.
Develop information security strategies in accordance with the organisation's strategy and business requirements. Set goals and budgets.
Select, train, supervise and appraise support engineers. Monitor their performance in providing maintenance, training and communication to users.
Monitor the performance of the information technology function and its staff, ensuring sufficient training, addressing process and performance deficiencies thru required trainings
Oversee service audits to ensure compliance with standards of the team's ability and efficiency.
Develop information technology strategies and services in line with the organisation's overall strategy and objectives.
Manage the activities of the information technology department including hardware and software contracting, training of users and maintenance. Oversee day-to-day operations of the department and staff.
Develop information technology policies, procedures and practices for the organisation. Oversee their implementation.
Planning, budgeting, cost-optimization, project management, implementation and resourcing
Evluate, propose, design, source, implement, and manage ICT solutions
Oversee and manage data center, enterprise network & security, telecommunication infrastructure & services, virtual and physical server infrastructure
sour cost-effective and scalable IT solutions that meet the business objectives and support sustainable growth
Laise with ISPs, Vendors, Support Partners and internal stakeholders at various levels to source and keep the ICT infrastructu up and running 24x7
Monitor ICT infrastructure, understand the threa from network traffic and logs to avoid inciden
Ensure the backups are in line with the schedules and validate them to ensure business continuity any avoid disasters
IT Assets inventory and life cycle management
Identify and mitigate the business risks pertaining to IT
assign the tickets to suitable resources and ensure the timely completion, train the staff to tackle the issues independently
Mentor, coach, monitor and lead the teams for better people management
Keep a track on the latest technology trends by attending events, workshops, professional training
