Introduction:
We are seeking an Accountant to join us. The candidate will work closely with operations and sales leaders.
Job Description:
•Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
•Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
•Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
•Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
•Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
•Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
•Prepare and submit week reports
•Assist with other accounting projects
Qualifications:
•Professional education in business administration, finance or equivalent work experience
•A persistent nature and a willingness to understand and overcome operational challeng.
•Ability to understand processes and challenges and effectively communicate internally.

Skills:
•Advanced English Proficiency
•Strong accounting background and the ability to effectively communicate financial matters when and as required.
•A proactive and intentional approach to problem solving.
•A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
•Understanding of accounting and accounting principles.
•Understanding of regional VAT and tax laws and the relevant applications in the ledger.
•Dubai U.A.E. Experience is preferred.
