A Junior Accountant supports the finance team by maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with daily accounting tasks, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities...
Record daily financial transactions and journal entries
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
Prepare and maintain invoices and receipts
Perform bank and account reconciliations
Maintain ledgers and accounting records
Assist in preparing financial reports
Support audits and provide required doentation
Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of financial data
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
Basic knowledge of accounting principles
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
Attention to detail and accuracy
Good organizational and communication skills
