The Lead QAQC Engineer will be seconded to the client office in Musandam for a long-term assignment. You will be responsible for implementing systems and processes as defined in the Project Quality Management Plan, ensuring all activities reflect the latest standards and best practices. Key duties include reviewing and approving Contractor Quality Plans, managing Third Party Inspection (TPI) agencies, and overseeing NDT and welding procedures. You will lead a team of inspectors to monitor EPC Contractor performance, participate in pre-inspection meetings, and manage the non-conformance and corrective action systems. Additionally, you will develop audit plans, conduct project quality audits, and ensure that all Quality KPIs are achieved while maintaining accurate project records and Manufacturer Data Books.

Applicants must hold a University Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering and be a Certified Lead Auditor (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or OHSAS 18001). You must have a minimum of 15 years of experience in the Oil and Petrochemical industry, spanning Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) phases. Extensive experience with API 650 storage tanks, process piping, onshore pipelines, and package equipment is required. The ideal candidate will have previously worked with major operating companies or multinational PMC firms. Specific discipline certifications in Welding, NDT, or Coating are mandatory. You must be prepared for a long-term secondment in Musandam and possess strong leadership skills to manage a multidisciplinary team.
