As a Legal Counsel you will play a key role in providing legal guidance and support to various departments within the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a diverse range of legal matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and mitigating legal risks. Key Responsibilities:
1. Contract Drafting and Review:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including but not limited to, commercial agreements, vendor contracts, and partnership agreements.
- Ensure that contracts comply with legal requirements and company policies.
2. Legal Research and Analysis:
- Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.
- Conduct legal research and provide timely and accurate legal advice to internal stakeholders.
3. Compliance Management:
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the company's compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments.
4. Dispute Resolution:
- Handle disputes and legal matters, including litigation when necessary.
- Collaborate with external legal counsel as needed.
5. Risk Management:
- Identify and assess legal risks associated with business activities.
- Develop strategies to mitigate legal risks and protect the company's interests.
6. Corporate Governance:
- Assist in corporate governance matters, including board meetings, regulatory filings, and other corporate compliance requirements.
